Schedule your Visit to Penn Nursing
Meet Penn Nursing admissions staff. Have lunch with a current student. Tour the University.
Each prospective Penn Nursing student is encouraged to visit the School of Nursing with their families to learn more about the many opportunities that abound.
A student interested in healthcare and business might want to learn more about the dual degree program in Nursing Health Care Management, offered jointly with Wharton. Another student might care to discuss the many nursing-specific study abroad programs that allow them to work in hospitals overseas, earning not just course credit, but clinical hours.
Whatever your interest, Marianne Smith, the Associate Director of Admissions, will spend an hour -- the first half hour with the student, the second half hour with the student and their family members -- to discuss individualized plans of study, dual degree options, minors, and countless academic opportunities that would best suit your educational and professional interests.
Afterwards, you and your family will be treated to lunch at at Houston Hall, the country’s first student union. Accompanying you will be a current Penn Nursing undergraduate who can answer all of your questions about the program. What are clinical rotations really like? Which is the best freshmen dorm? The answers will be honest.
And finally, conclude your day with the Penn Information Session at College Hall for even more information on the University and the undergraduate admissions process, as well as a student-guided tour of the beautiful, urban campus.
