Jennifer Pinto-Martin, PhD, MPH, has been appointed the Executive Director of the Center for Public Health Initiatives as of January 1, 2013 for a five year term.
Dr. Pinto-Martin has been involved with CPHI since its founding and has served as the Director of Penn’s Master of Public Health program since 2007. Since then, CPHI has spearheaded the development of public health initiatives such as Service Link at Sayre Health Center, the founding of a Refugee Clinic at Penn Center for Primary Care and maintains the Healthy Post Newspaper at Henry C. Lea Elementary School.
Dr. Pinto-Martin is a Senior Scholar in the Center for Clinical Epidemiology and Biostatistics
and Senior Fellow in the Leonard Davis Institute for Health Economics
. Additionally, she is the Director of the Center for Autism and Developmental Disabilities Research and Epidemiology (CADDRE), one of six such Centers funded by the National Centers for Disease Control and Prevention
