​Dr. McHugh’s research article, “Nurses’ Widespread Job Dissatisfaction, Burnout, and Frustration with Health Benefits Signal Problems for Patient Care,” is in the running to become one of the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation’s Top Five Most Influential Research Articles of 2011.

The RWJF asks the public to help select the top research articles using the following criteria: 
• The research article guided policy and practice
• The article influenced how the public thinks about health and healthcare issues
• The article changed long-held perceptions of the healthcare field at large.
