Nursing and Health Care Administration Alumni Network

Mission

The Nursing and Health Care Administration Alumni Network (NHCAAN) is an organization composed of the graduates of the Nursing and Health Care Administration program.  Its mission is to:

  • foster connection among students and alumni

  • develop an active alumni network to mentor graduate students for internship placements
  • support and contribute to the professional development of the program's students and alumni.
  • develop a program for recruitment of graduate students in the Nursing and Health Care Administration Program and recruitment of alumni into the NHCAAN
  • Advisory Board

    The NHCAAN has an Advisory Board that consists of 8 alumni and 1 student representative.  The Board will serve a 3-year term.

    The faculty representative for the NHCAAN is Dr. Cynthia Scalzi. 

    Committees

    The NHCAAN has 7 committees, and members from the Advisory Board chair these committees.  Committee participation is open to all members.

    Penn Nursing Alumni

    All Nursing and Health Care Administration alumni are also members of the larger Penn Nursing Alumni which offers benefits and opportunities to all graduates of the University of Pennsylvania School of Nursing.

    These include publications, a monthly e-mail newsletter, and invitations to alumni
    and school events.  

    Graduates of the Health Leadership and Occupational Health Administration Programs are invited to join this Network.
