Students Awarded Scholarship
 

​Two students, Molly Kreider Viscardi, MPA, RN and Lisa K. Eng, RN, BSN, CLC,  have each been awarded a $5,000 scholarship from the Nursing Economic$ Foundation to pursue graduate-level nursing education.


Molly Kreider Viscardi is currently in the doctoral program at Penn Nursing and pursuing a Master in Bioethics at the University of Pennsylvania. She is interested in “studying the nursing characteristics and the aspects of the nursing environment that may contribute to unjust and costly variations in care quality in vulnerable populations.”


Lisa K. Eng is pursuing a Master of Science in Nursing in Health Leadership and a Master of Public Health at the University of Pennsylvania. She received her BSN from Penn Nursing and plans to “find a nursing leadership position with a focus on public health. I intend to be involved in the design and implementation of health care in communities.”


The Nursing Economic$ Foundation was established in 1990 and has promoted the advanced educational and research activities or nurse executives who are pursuing graduate level degrees. The Foundation has awarded over $300,000 to future nurse executives.
