Four Penn Nursing students have been awarded scholarships from the National Student Nurses Association (NSNA) totaling $18,000. The four students are: Amanda Daley, Jeffrey Lee, Kaitlin Best and Candace Freeman. The scholarships were announced at the NSNA conference.
The NSNA was founded in 1952 and is dedicated to fostering the professional development of nursing students. The Foundation of the NSNA has distributed over $2 million in scholarships for undergraduate nursing education. The Promise of Nursing Regional Scholarship Program, administered by the FNSNA, provides scholarships and grants to both undergraduates and graduates.
