By becoming a nurse scholar, I hope to develop more effective nursing processes in home care to assist the elderly to better manage their chronic diseases and co-morbid conditions. 

I realize the vital connection between meticulous identification of nursing practice issues and methods for improving the lives and health of the elderly homecare patients to which I have dedicated my life’s work. I seek to refine the methods of caring for the elderly in their homes in order to promote the highest quality outcomes possible and contain the costs associated with providing this care.
