New Gallup Poll Information on Nursing Leadership

On January 20, the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation will release the results of the first-ever large-scale Gallup Survey to explore the views of leading stakeholders about nurses’ ability to influence health reform and improve health care in the United States. The survey, Nursing Leadership from Bedside to Boardroom: Opinion Leaders’ Perceptions, is expected to provide valuable information about the perception of nurses as leaders and change-makers by key players in health care, business, government and higher education.

University of Pennsylvania nursing professor Dr. Mary Naylor will join Gov. Ed Rendell and other healthcare leaders to discuss the findings to be released at the National Press Club in Washington, D.C.
