Chemotherapy has been crucial to treating cancer for over 50 years, but many of these drugs greatly diminish the quality of patients’ lives during and even after treatment.

Since earning his PhD in nutritional sciences, Bart C. De Jonghe has focused his work on addressing debilitating side effects such as nausea, loss of appetite, and vomiting associated with chemotherapy.
