Dr. Hurst is a gynecologist and founding partner of Englewood Ob/Gyn, a private practice in Englewood, NJ. She is a graduate of Choate Rosemary Hall and earned her undergraduate degree from Wellesley College.  She then graduated from Tufts University School of Medicine. Since completing her residency at Pennsylvania Hospital, she has been an attending physician at Englewood Hospital and Medical Center in New Jersey.

In addition to treating women in the Englewood community, Dr. Hurst has served as the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology representative to the operating room committee and has served as a trustee of the Board of the Englewood Hospital and Medical Center Foundation. She has been physician liaison to the Englewood Hospital Breakfast Club, one of its charity organizations.  Her interest in urban women’s health led to her involvement in Penn Nursing and she was recently appointed to serve as the inaugural chair of the Advisory Board of the Center for Global Women’s Health.

The Senate and General Assembly of the State of New Jersey has recognized Dr. Hurst for a record of community leadership and exemplary volunteerism in benefit of project S.A.R.A.H., which provides critical support to women experiencing domestic abuse.  She has been named a Top Doctor by numerous magazines, including New York and Inside Jersey, for 11 consecutive years.
