Ms. Mary Del Guidice’s nursing career spans over 30 years. She was part of the first nursing team in the country to achieve the ANCC Magnet Award after the pilot program and has achieved this designation five times with teams throughout her career. Mary has been a Magnet Appraiser and has worked as a health-care consultant, assisting health-care organizations make positive changes to staff and patient satisfaction, leadership, patient safety and core measurements performance. Currently just 7% of hospitals hold this designation which is the highest recognition of excellence in nursing practice internationally. Mary has been recognized throughout her career for innovations in quality, safety, patient and staff satisfaction and finance.
