Advanced Practice Award for Diabetes Expert
The Pediatric Endocrinology Nursing Society (PENS) recently awarded Terri H. Lipman, PhD, CRNP, FAAN, its Excellence in Advanced Practice Award during its annual conference in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
May 15, 2017Lipman is the Miriam Stirl Endowed Term Professor of Nutrition, a Professor of Nursing of Children in the Department of Family & Community Health, Assistant Dean for Community Engagement, and a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner in the Division of Diabetes & Endocrinology at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.
The award recognizes a PENS member with a graduate degree in nursing with evidence of clinical skills in pediatric endocrinology nursing and demonstrates leadership in activities such as innovative clinical care, education, research, publication, presentations, mentoring, and child advocacy.
