​Center Director Julie Fairman, PhD, RN, FAAN, was recently featured in the 11/6/11 documentary Inside the Nursing Crisis produced by public television network WCNY.  The program is part of a continuing series focused on the growing nursing shortage in the US.  As Dr. Fairman states during the program, nursing history helps to explain the "cyclical nature" of the current shortage, while also giving insight to trends in the profession.  Dr. Fairman also spoke on the lasting impact of Florence Nightingale on the profession.
