The Center's holdings include approximately 3,000 photographs from the 1870s to the 1990s. The largest collections of photographs are those of the Alumni Association of the Philadelphia General Hospital School of Nursing (1,500 images), the Visiting Nurse Society of Philadelphia (241 images), and the Mercy-Douglass Hospital School of Nursing (208 images).
