Haiti Relief Efforts

The School of Nursing is actively supporting the mission of healthcare workers in Haiti to alleviate human suffering, noting particularly the plight of women and children who often become exceptionally vulnerable in such catastrophic conditions. Under the Healthy in Philadelphia outreach arm of the School, nurses and others have supported the local Haitian community with baskets of food and emotional support as they have waited for news of loved ones and, hopefully, their recovery.
