Worldwide Collaborations

Penn Nursing's Global Initiatives are part of the University of Pennsylvania's overall strategic goals of internationalization. All twelve of Penn's schools incorporate a global perspective as part of their curricula and faculty view international issues and comparative approaches as integral to their own research agenda. The School of Nursing builds on its reputation of excellence and continues to expand upon a long and productive legacy of international research and presentations around the world. Penn Nursing's international activities have been enhanced by a strengthened Office of International Programs coordinating activities for Penn Nursing, under the leadership of former Dean Norma Lang, Lillian S. Brunner Professor of Medical Surgical Nursing, and Director of the WHO Collaborating Center in Nursing and Midwifery Leadership.

The University of Pennsylvania School of Nursing is a PAHO/WHO Collaborating Center for Nursing and Midwifery Leadership.

The University of Pennsylvania School of Nursing is one of these 16.
