Supporting a Tradition of Excellence

Nurses play an extraordinary role in improving health and saving lives.  Today, the best nurses are prepared to practice in a global society with health-related knowledge and technology improving at a consistently accelerated pace.

For twenty one years, the Friends of Penn Nursing campaign has provided much-needed scholarships for undergraduate and graduate nursing students at the University of Pennsylvania.  With over $3 million raised since 1988, there are now generations of Friends of Penn Nursing Scholars who are making a difference in the world every day with their knowledge, their expertise, their commitment, and their compassion.

This year is another significant year for the Friends of Penn Nursing.  In our most recent annual campaign, we raised $150,000 – a target which allowed us to create a new endowed scholarship to help talented students attend Penn Nursing.
