Utilizing APNs to Solve Provider Shortage in Rural India

Utilizing APNS to deliver primary care has potential in the United States and far beyond. In an effort to help develop nursing, nurse practitioner, and primary care practice in rurarl India, the University of Pennsylvania School of Nursing has partnered with IKP Center for Technologies in Public Health (ICTPH), a non-profit research organization in southern India that aims to develop models of nursing care to address health problems in rural parts of the country.
