Welcome to the Biobehavioral Heath Sciences Division

Penn Nursing’s students are mentored by some of the nation’s best researchers and clinical leaders in community and primary care, maternal-infant health and psychiatric mental health nursing.

The Family & Community Health Division investigates, teaches and translates into practice behavioral models and interventions to change the behaviors of those at risk for disease and, thus, directly improve the health of those with chronic conditions. Health disparities, nursing history, a lifespan view and scholarship of practice are hallmarks of its faculty.
