The University of Pennsylvania School of Nursing, one of 12 Schools in a highly-ranked institution, is dedicated to the integration of research, education, and practice. We invite doctorally prepared individuals to apply to the standing faculty (tenure track and clinician educator) at junior and senior ranks. Postdoctoral training or academic experience is preferred. Rank and salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. We particularly encourage applications from candidates with established teaching and clinical experience in:  

Ø      Anesthesia

Ø      Geropsychiatric Nursing

Ø      Women’s Health

 

and/or established research in:   

Ø      Health Outcomes/Health Systems Redesign

Ø      Informatics

Ø      Simulation

Ø      Symptom Management

 

In addition, we invite doctorally prepared individuals to apply for positions (appointments) in the associated faculty (research faculty and practice faculty) at junior and senior ranks. Applicants for research faculty positions should be aware that, in addition to the above, the School of Nursing will consider individuals with expertise in other areas of research (subject to funding availability).  Applicants for practice faculty positions must have demonstrated success in teaching in a specialty area. 

 Applications are being sought for postdoctoral research fellows in the area of Gerontology, Nursing Outcomes, and Sleep Research.
