Advisory Task
Force on Diversity and Culture Competence
The
purpose of the Advisory Taskforce on Diversity and Cultural Competence is
to provide a forum to address issues and implement activities about
diversity at the School of Nursing. The committee consists of faculty,
clinical teachers, staff, human resources, student services, recruitment
and students representatives. The Director of Diversity Affairs and a
member of the standing faculty serve as Co-chairs. The specific goals are
to:

Implement a Seminar Series on diversity and Cultural Competence.

Facilitate outreach initiatives with emphasis on recruitment of
under-represented groups in Nursing in partnership with faculty ,
students and offices of Enrollment Management and Student Services.

Communicate with faculty, staff and students about the work of the
committee.
