- Penn Nursing Network
Penn Nursing Network (PNN) is comprised of the academic nursing practices
owned by the University of Pennsylvania School of Nursing. Committed
to community-based health care of the highest standard, PNN is a multi-practice
health care delivery network spanning the life cycle. PNN seeks to provide
individuals, families, and the community with respectful and confidential
quality health care while educating healthcare professionals, developing
research-based practice guidelines, and maintaining economic stability.
- Clinician Educator Faculty Practices
Clinician educators are members of the standing faculty who spend a
designated portion of their time in practices that range from direct
clinical and administrative services to providing education and/or conducting
research in academic practice settings. These practices are tailored
to play an integral and synergistic role in their scholarship and teaching
and are used to bring the best evidence-based practice to the bedside.
- Partners and Affiliates
These practice sites are accessed through partnerships and alliances
with health care organizations and are used to advance the tripartite
mission of education, research, and practice.
- Healthy in Philadelphia
The School of Nursing has launched a Healthy in Philadelphia (HIP) initiative designed to partner with the West Philadelphia community to meet the needs of society and to advance the translation of knowledge and evidence-based, culturally competent models of care in the areas of healthy lifestyles; transitions in health, illness, and end of life; and disparities in access to and provision of health care.
