Dr. Robyn Cheung will be keynote speaker at the University of Scranton for a one-day professional development program focusing on nurses’ impact on quality
 

SCRANTON – The University of Scrantonwill present a one-day professional development program, “Nurses’ Impact on Quality,” 8 a.m. on Nov. 6.

The focus of the program is to present current trends in nursing that affect patient quality care. The keynote speaker is Robyn Cheung, RN, Ph.D., research assistant professor at the University of Pennsylvania School of Nursing. She will discuss “Nurses at the Bedside: A Critical Role in Patient Outcomes and Hospital Quality.”

The program is sponsored by Community Medical Center, Mercy Health Partners, Moses Taylor Hospital and the Alumni Society of The University of Scranton, and is a collaborative effort of Scranton’s Department of Nursing, Office of Alumni Relations, University Relations, and the Center for Professional Training and Development.
