Translational Research

Historically, researchers have designed and evaluated protocols which have resulted in positive outcomes for vulnerable populations. However, some of these reserach findings have never been diffused sufficiently into practice or community settings; nor have they been fully evaluated when implemented. CHER's aim is to collaborate with community members, other researchers, and clinicians, to identify, disseminate and translate culturally congruent, theory diverse evidenced-based best practice models into clinical and community settings to improve the quality of life for vulnerable families and communities.
