This web-based learning environment has been developed for
nurses and other health care practitioners who want to stay
informed about innovative developments in the field of gerontological
nursing.
Research
at Penn Nursing focuses on interventions that enhance outcomes
of care and quality of life; furthermore, our HCGNE's major
goal is to provide leadership in creating and disseminating
innovations for frail vulnerable elders. Thus GERO

's goal to Teach
Innovative Practical
Solutions to busy nurses and other health care
clinicians working with older, frail patients is a logical
extension of this mission. GERO
T I P S Online
translates academic research
into practical applications and via this web
site disseminates these "practical solutions" to
clinicians in the field.

is available at no charge. Whether you're looking
to develop new skills for yourself or you want to enhance
your staff's ability to provide state of the art nursing care
to frail elders, come back to this page often. We are constantly
expanding the range of educational offerings. We will provide
you with ideas to implement innovative practical solutions
as well as develop teaching aids to disseminate these useful
solutions to other staff members.
