a web-based learning environment for nurse practitioners who
want to stay informed about innovative developments in the field
of gerontological nursing. Research at Penn Nursing focuses
on interventions that enhance outcomes of care and quality of
life; furthermore, our HCGNE's major goal is to provide leadership
in creating and disseminating innovations for frail vulnerable
elders. Thus GERO

's goal to Teach

health care clinicians working with older, frail patients is
a logical extension of this mission.

resources are provided free of charge. Whether you're
looking to develop new skills for yourself or you want to enhance
your staff's ability to provide state of the art nursing care
to frail elders, come back to this page often. We are constantly
expanding the range of educational offerings. We will provide
you with ideas to implement innovative practical solutions as
well as develop teaching aids to disseminate these useful solutions
