Lisette K. Bunting-Perry

"Palliative care in chronic neurological disease is a philosophy which supports the needs of patients and families from the time of diagnosis through bereavement services at end-of-life.  The need for palliative care for older adults with diseases such as Parkinson's disease, is essential to provide comfort, hope and compassion throughout the trajectory of illness.  It is my goal to bring evidenced based care to clinical services for older adults with Parkinson's disease and related disorders through research based on the precepts of palliative care".
