Dr. Lois Evans teaches a required mental
health and aging course and mentors doctoral and
postdoctoral students in their research related
to behaviors in dementia. As a faculty director,
Dr. Evans played a major role in launching
clinical practices of the School of Nursing,
offering primary care to both frail elders and
low-income families who otherwise might go
without health care. |

Katherine K. Hostvedt, RN, MSN, received both
her BSN and MSN from the University of Pennsylvania
School of Nursing. During her Master's program in
Nursing and Healthcare Administration Katherine
concentrated her studies in entrepreurship and
management in long-term care settings. Katherine
has been awarded a predoctoral Hartford Fellowship
(2006-2008) at the University of Pennsylvania School
of Nursing where she curently begining her
dissertation work studying Professional Practice
Enviornments and Organizational Culture in Nursing
Homes. |
