Scholarship Program
The Penn-Beverly
Healthcare Scholarship Program was designed
to stimulate interest in geriatric nursing and
to assist selected students finance a portion of
their Penn nursing education expense. The scholarship
grant provides financial tuition and fees support
for undergraduate and graduate nursing students
interested in pursuing a career in geriatric nursing
and/or nursing administration and leadership in
long term care environments. Students awarded a
scholarship are required to complete an employment
commitment for a period of two years with Beverly
Healthcare. Beverly
Healthcare is a leading provider of
long term care with 356 nursing homes and 18 assisted
living centers across the United States.
Program
Structure
Selected undergraduate and graduate students
will receive an individual scholarship award of $30,000.00.
The
scholarship award is distributed each semester as
follows:

To Apply
Submit
a letter of intent and a brief 1-2 page essay
describing your interest in a career in geriatric nursing,
current leadership skills and abilities, and anticipated
career goals.
