The purpose of this Nurse Executive Invitational summit is to develop a research agenda that provides evidence based principles for succession planning and mentoring for future nurse executives leading patient care delivery systems across the entire care continuum. The proceedings and papers will be published in Spring 2012 edition of Nursing Administration Quarterly .
The audience will consist of 50 specifically identified nationally and internationally recognized nurse executives, representing all venues of healthcare delivery systems as well as identified doctoral students interested in nursing leadership research.
