Core Faculty

Our interdisciplinary research Center is composed of scientists representing diverse disciplines who employ a variety of methods within qualitative and quantitative paradigms of inquiry in a variety of environments including community, clinical, and laboratory settings. The faculty, plan, develop, conduct and disseminate grant-supported research in collaboration with the public, academic, and larger research communities.

  • All listed faculty are actively engaged in biobehavioral research.
  • All members mentor junior faculty as well as established researchers wanting to incorporate
    biobehavioral measures into their programs of research.
  • Research collaboration among members of the center is highly valued

The faculty members of the BRC represent a highly productive group of both junior and senior investigators.

There are currently 14 SON faculty within the BRC with a total of $ 4.4 million in research in the 2004 fiscal year.

This funding represents 1/3 of the total SON sponsored projects during that year.
