Adult Oncology Nurse Practitioner Program
Welcome and thank you for your interest in the Adult Oncology Nurse Practitioner (AONP) program. We offer a unique program with its blended Clinical Nurse Specialist and Nurse Practitioner curricula. Through this inclusive approach to advanced practice oncology nursing education, our graduates are exceptionally well-prepared to manage the various physical and psychosocial needs of cancer patients and their families across the illness trajectory within a complex and changing health care arena. The AONP faculty is committed to providing a challenging and rich adult learning experience that is tailored to meet students’ specialized interests and professional goals.
Chief among the many resources available to students enrolled in the AONP program is the program faculty, all of whom are practicing clinicians with a long and diverse history of commitment to oncology patients, their families, and to oncology nursing. Our strong associations with the University of Pennsylvania Cancer Center and with a multitude of other comprehensive and community cancer centers in the Philadelphia region provide our AONP students with an unprecedented breadth and depth of nationally and internationally known experts for lectures and clinical preceptorships.
I invite you to explore our unique course offerings and contact us to discover how we can help you to meet your professional goals.
