Alumni Liaison Program
The Alumni Liaison Program increases student awareness of the variety of roles nurses play and reinforces their identification with the nursing profession. Thank you to those who signed up to host a first year student this fall, you will be hearing from you assigned students in late September or early October.

Preceptors

The need for preceptors in the greater Philadelphia region is strong and it is year-round. Please consider supporting Penn Nursing students by volunteering. The benefits of precepting at Penn include:

• Certification renewal
• Appointment to Clinical Associate after 5 years of service (by application)
• Annual discount for Continuing Education Courses (10%) at Penn
• Online access to Bio-Medical Library Resources (eligibility required)
• Recognition for service at the Annual Preceptor Event and obtain CEU’s
• And, the satisfaction in helping to educate the nurses of tomorrow.

Job Resource List
Help the new grads by being a part of a job resource list that notfies new graduates about shadow experiences, job openings and other career opportunities. Email Sharon Fleshman, Senior Associate Director of School of Nursing Career Services at fleshman@upenn.edu to share career oppotunities with our recent grads.
