Marking Historymarker

An historical marker commemorating
Philadelphia General Hospital (PGH) which closed 30 years ago now stands at the foot of the steps on the west side of the School of Nursing.  This is only the fourth historical marker on the Penn campus.

Making History

On October 20th, Penn launched Making History: The Campaign for Penn.  This $3.5 billion effort will empower Penn to create a new kind of university: one prepared to tackle the pressing problems of the 21st century and to improve the lives of people around the globe.  Nursing's WHERE SCIENCE LEADS campaign is an integral part of this endeavor and announced its own exciting news that same evening.

Making a Difference
Minorities in Nursing Organization, a student interest group at Penn, presents
The Red and White Ball, a (red) tie affair to raise money for Pediatric AIDS, featuring dinner, dancing, and dynamic entertainment! The event is being held at the Inn at Penn November 30th, 2007 from 8:00 PM to 1:00 AM.  For more information or to purchase tickets, click here.
