Marking History
An historical marker commemorating Philadelphia General Hospital (PGH)
which closed 30 years ago now stands at the foot of the steps on the west
side of the School of Nursing.
This is only the fourth historical marker
on the Penn campus.
Making History
On October 20th,
Penn launched Making
History: The Campaign for Penn. This
$3.5 billion effort will empower Penn to create a new kind of university:
one prepared to tackle the pressing problems of the 21st century
and to improve the lives of people around the globe.
Nursing's WHERE
SCIENCE LEADS campaign
is an integral part of this endeavor and announced its own
exciting news that same evening.
