Penn Nursing will celebrate the latest
transformation of Fagin Hall this fall. Several floors are
currently under renovation to expand existing laboratory space, reorganize
a confusing interior, make better use of existing space, and incorporate
more environmentally friendly features. Renovations will be completed in
the fall and we invite Penn Nursing alumni and friends to join us for an
unveiling. The celebration will be part of a multi-day event featuring a
doctoral alumni conference and reunion dinner and the State of the School.
Please watch your mail, email and the Penn Nursing website for more
information.
Penn Nursing Students Set for Community Project in Honduras
As part of the Nursing course, Infant and Maternal Care in the
Americas, nine Nursing undergraduate and graduate students will help out
in underserved communities in Honduras to improve health care,
particularly in midwifery, for two weeks this May.
This is the third year of trips to Honduras, but the first year that
students will blog about trip preparations and experience on site. Penn
Nursing professors and instructors hope that by blogging even students not on
the trip will have the opportunity to learn from it.

Supporting Penn Nursing >
Achieving the
Goal
The Nursing Annual Fund is at 72% of its 2007-08 goal with
over $221,000 raised from 1,123 donors! Your support is crucial.
Please consider participating to help us achieve our goal of
$305,000 by June 30th. The Annual Fund provides
support for emerging student and faculty opportunities within the
school. It is the combined gifts, of any size, from MANY alumni,
parents, friends, faculty and students that give the Annual Fund
its impressive impact. Your participation is important to help us
