NINR cites Penn Nursing researchers as authors of landmark studies
A new publication from the National Institute of Nursing Research, Ten Landmark Studies, includes three research studies by Penn Nursing faculty, the most of any school of nursing.  The faculty members whose studies were cited are Linda Aiken, Loretta Jemmott and Mary Naylor.  Also included were research studies by a Penn Nursing alumna (Martha Hill) and a former member of the Penn Nursing faculty (Margaret Grey).  For more information on the studies, go to http://www.ninr.nih.gov/NewsAndInformation/ and click on Ten Landmark Studies in the column on the right.

Penn Nursing caring to change Mississippi
Penn Nursing students and faculty joined with colleagues from Penn Dental, Engineering and Social Policy and Practice to spend a week of their winter break in Pearlington, Mississippi helping with the recovery and redevelopment effort following Hurricane Katrina.  Students canvassed door to door to learn what the community still needs and organized a free health fair for residents. To read a first hand account of the experience, go to http://www.pennnursinginpearlington.blogspot.com/

Penn Nursing has a new website!

The Penn Nursing home page has been redesigned to display our new Nursing Science brand and tagline, "Care to Change the World". But, more importantly, we are beginning the painstaking and important work of making a difference by rebuilding our own site to make it easier to find information. Welcome to Penn Nursing Science where we care to change the world-with a website to match!
