One of 21 Philadelphians Making
a Difference
In the December 2007 issue of
Philadelphia Magazine, Sister Rose Kershbaumer, the former Associate Director of Penn's PAHO/WHO Collaborating Center for Nursing and Midwifery Leadership, a former staff member of the School of Nursing Office of International Programs and currently a core faculty member of the Teacher Education Program, was recognized as one of 21 Philadelphians who are making a difference for her work in Africa saving the lives of literally thousands of women and babies.  For more information on Sister Rose's involvement at Penn Nursing, please go to http://www.nursing.upenn.edu/teachered/faculty/.

Did you graduate in a year ending with '8 or '3?  If so, mark your calendar now to celebrate your Penn Nursing Reunion and Sigma Theta Tau's 50th reunion on May 16-18, 2008.  Encourage your classmates to attend by volunteering as a Penn Nursing reunion chair.
