Faculty Member Receives $2.9million Award from NIH
Penn Nursing faculty member, Mary D. Naylor, Marian S. Ware Professor in Gerontology, received an NIH five-year $2.9 million award, to examine the quality of life for elderly in the U.S.

Faculty Member's New Book Gets Rave Reviews
A review of "Conversations in CAM: Insights and Perspectives from Leading Practitioners," edited by Assistant Professor, Norma Cuellar, appears in the Townsend Letter.

Don't Miss The 120th HUP Reunion!
Celebrate the 120th Anniversary of the founding of the HUP Nursing School with friends and classmates, October 6, 2006 - October 8, 2006.  On Saturday, October 7th, the School of Nursing will host breakfast, tours of HUP and the School, remarks from Dean Afaf I. Meleis and musings from special guest, Florence Nightingale.
