Thursday, November 30, 2006, we launch Where Science Leads: The Campaign for Penn Nursing.  The afternoon kick-off features a tribute to Dr. Claire M. Fagin, Dean Emerita, and a dynamic program on nursing as the answer to local and global issues, moderated by alumna, Dr. Shirley Chater, HUP'53, Nu'56 HON'97. Penn Nursing Now Ranks 3rd in NIH Research Funding
Up to third place from fifth last year, Penn Nursing received $7.6 million in research funding in 2005, making us the top ranked private nursing school in the county.

American Assembly for Men in Nursing Awards Penn Nursing
For continued efforts to recruit and retain men in nursing, the American Assembly for Men in Nursing selected Penn Nursing for the 2006 Best School Award.  Penn Nursing's newest student organization, MANUP, hit the DP's front page.
