Supporting Faculty

Many gifts to the School of Nursing can name endowments to permanently associate a donor's name with the School or to honor a family member, friend, colleague, or professor.  The following opportunities indicate levels of giving appropriate for faculty support:

Term Research Fund: $50,000
A term research fund provides outright support for faculty research over a period of several years.

Endowed Research Fund: $100,000
Endowed research funds can support specific departments, professors, or areas of study.

Research Center Directorship: $1,000,000
An endowed directorship allows research directors to expand the work of their centers in innovative directions.

Career Development Professorship: $1,000,000 - $1,250,000
Career development professorships allow the School of Nursing to encourage young faculty who show exceptional promise.

Professorship: $3,000,000
Endowed professorships help the School of Nursing to sustain its world-class faculty.
