Transfer Students Admissions Requirements

Transfer Applicants

Completed applications will consist of the following:

Transfer applicants must complete both the Common Application and the Penn Application Supplement. Your application will be deemed incomplete without both.

Two academic recommendations from your college professor(s) are required. Please select recommenders that can speak to your abilities and projected success in the nursing program.

Please submit your high school and all college transcripts to the Office of Undergraduate Admissions at Penn.

The SAT Reasoning Test and or the American College Tests (ACT) with Writing is required for all applicants.

The Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) is required for applicants who are non-native English speakers.

The interview is not only an opportunity for us to learn about you, but also an opportunity for you to learn more about Penn Nursing. After submitting your completed application, please contact the school of nursing via email at admissions@nursing.upenn.edu to scheduled your interview.

International Applicants

In addition to all required application materials, international applicants to the undergraduate program must submit the following items:
