Undergraduate and Transfer Programs
Care to Change the World
The only Ivy League program of its kind, Penn Nursing is the number one choice for nursing education. Our unique position as one of the top-ranked nursing schools in the country offers prospective high school and transfer students an exceptional educational opportunity. We prepare students to become healthcare leaders by integrating a world-class liberal arts curriculum with a rigorous specialization in nursing.
Our students can combine their studies with Penn's other three undergraduate schools and may pursue dual degrees, such as Nursing and Healthcare Management, a dual degree program with Wharton. Penn Nursing offers a variety of minors, numerous study abroad options, and submatriculation into any of our seventeen master's in nursing programs or into the University of Pennsylvania Law School. Opportunities abound to interact with our nursing faculty in and out of the classroom, including the option to assist with research. Penn Nursing students can fully engage with everything the University has to offer, such as clubs, college house life, and athletics.
Become a Healthcare Leader
Penn Nursing provides an incomparable professional foundation upon which to build your career, no matter the direction you decide to pursue. Graduates of Penn's baccalaureate nursing program hold responsible positions across healthcare settings, corporations, pharmaceutical companies, law firms, accounting firms, and insurance companies, to name a few. Penn Nursing graduates rank among the University's highest in average starting salaries. With a Penn Nursing degree, you'll find yourself at the top of your field, with others turning to you for knowledge, guidance, and expertise.
