In the most recent U.S. News & World Report rankings of graduate schools, Penn Nursing was voted as a #1 Graduate School of Nursing in the United States. In fact, all the MSN programs that were recently evaluated were placed in the top three nationally by U.S. News & World Report—including four considered the best in the nation—reflecting the dedication and scholarship of Penn Nursing faculty.
The Master's in Science Nurse Practitioner programs are approved by the Pennsylvania State Board of
Nursing and are fully accredited by Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE). The Nurse Anesthesia program is accredited by the Council of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs. The Nurse Midwifery major is accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Midwifery Education.

Part-Time
Penn Nursing utilizes a rolling admissions process for part-time applications. Yet, all applications must be submitted by the following dates: Spring start (January): November 1
Summer start (May): April 1
Fall start (September): July 1
Full-Time
Penn Nursing utilizes a regular admissions process for full-time applications. Please refer to the chart below for exceptions to this and for application deadlines.
