Applicants to an MSN program who meet the following criteria are eligible for a waiver of the Graduate Record Exam (GRE). Please note that simply meeting these criteria does not guarantee receipt of the waiver. The MSN Admissions Committee may request GREs from eligible applicants at its discretion. Also, approval for the GRE Waiver does not guarantee admission to the MSN program. The eligibility for the waiver is based on one's cumulative BSN GPA, which we will not recalculate. There is no formal request or application for the waiver necessary. Every applicant is reviewed for the waiver upon application to the MSN program and you will be contacted only if the waiver has not been approved.

· Graduate of a BSN program of study from an accredited institution in the United States or Canada with a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or above on a 4.0 scale
OR
· Post-master’s applicants, or applicants with a master’s degree in a discipline other than nursing, with a GPA of 3.0 or above on a 4.0 scale

Applicants to the following programs are not eligible for the GRE waiver:

·  RN Returns (without BSN)
·  BSN/MSN applicants
·  PhD Applicants
·  International applicants who completed BSN programs outside the US or Canada
