Master's Tuition
The Graduate School of Nursing is committed to helping students meet the cost of receiving an outstanding education at the University of Pennsylvania. Of the students who apply for financial assistance, 89% receive aid. Additionally, over 42% of students in the various Masters programs receive aid through the school, their employers or outside sources.
There are many types of financial assistance available to Master's students. Most of the aid is awarded on the basis of demonstrated financial need; however, there are several scholarships and grants offered on the basis of outstanding academic merit.
Please be aware that the University of Pennsylvania does not provide funding for international graduate students. Many international students secure funding from their host country. You must be a permanent resident or a U.S. citizen to be eligible to receive federal funding.
If you would like more general information about Financial Aid at the University of Pennsylvania, please visit the Student Financial Services website.

* Please keep in mind that the school does not bill the student for books and personal expenses. We do, however, build these figures into the Student Budget to better help students and their families plan for all costs associated with a Penn Nursing Education. Likewise, we give financial aid based on the entire student budget, not just on the cost of tuition and fees.
