Undergraduate and Transfer Students
Financial aid at the University of Pennsylvania is based on financial need. Using the information provided in the Financial Aid application, FAFSA and CSS Profile, Student Financial Services determines each family’s ability to pay the costs of a Penn education. Once a family’s financial need has been determined, Penn will meet 100% of the need with various types of financial assistance.
Starting with the 2009-2010 academic year, all students with assessed need recieved loan-free packages. You can read more about Penn's committment to affordable education on the Student Financial Services website.
