Accelerated Programs

Fast-track into the Nursing Profession

Penn Nursing students learn from and work with some of the finest nursing leaders and researchers in the nation. Our Accelerated program is designed for students with a non-nursing bachelor’s degree who are interested in entering the nursing profession. Program options include the BSN Second Degree program, the BSN/MSN program, or the Hillman Scholars BSN-to-PhD program. 

Accelerated students are extremely motivated and bring a wealth of experiences and diversity to Penn Nursing. They are graduates of some of the best universities and colleges in the country. Students enrolled in Penn Nursing's Accelerated program hold baccalaureate degrees across a wide range of disciplines including anthropology, civil engineering, english literature, government, law, liberal arts, marketing, and psychology - to name just a few.

Program Options

The BSN Second Degree Program is for you if you are exclusively interested in getting your Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, but are not sure of or interested in a Master’s specialty at this time.

The BSN/MSN Program is for you if you know what Master’s in Nursing specialty you would like to pursue.

The Hillman Scholars in Nursing Innovation BSN/PhD Program is for you if you would like to complete your BSN and go on to complete your PhD in Nursing.
