Accelerated Nursing Programs

Thank you for your interest in the University of Pennsylvania School of Nursing.  We are pleased that you are considering Penn as the place to pursue your educational and career goals.  Penn Nursing will offer you great opportunities to learn from and work with some of the finest nursing leaders and researchers in the nation. 

Our Accelerated Program is designed for students with a non-nursing bachelor’s degree, who are interested in entering the Nursing profession.  We offer students the option of applying to the BSN Second Degree Program or the BSN/MSN program.  Posted below is information on both programs offered:

The BSN Second Degree Program is for you if you are exclusively interested in getting your Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, but are not sure of or interested in a Master’s specialty at this time. 

The BSN/MSN Program is for you if you know what Master’s in Nursing specialty you would like to pursue.

The Hillman Scholars in Nursing Innovation BSN/PhD Program is for you if you would like to complete your BSN and go on to complete your PhD in Nursing.  Find out more about this program and the scholarship provided by the Hillman Foundation here.

The Bachelor of Science in Nursing program is approved by the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing and is fully accredited by Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE).
