Prerequisite Courses for Entry in 2012

The accelerated program at Penn Nursing offers begins in late-June 2012, the BSN portion is 18 months, the length of he MSN is contingent on the speciality.
  
Prerequisites to begin in June 2012 (18 months for the BSN): 
4 Credits of Chemistry with lab (Inorganic Chem)
4 Credits of Biology with lab
8 Credits of Anatomy and Physiology with lab
4 Credits of Microbiology with lab
3 Credits of Nutrition; 3 Credits of Human Development via the life-span and 3 Credits of Statistics

3 Credits of Health Care Ethics (this course may be completed at Penn while in the program)

Prerequisites to begin in June 2013 (18 months for the BSN): 
4 Credits of Chemistry with lab (Inorganic Chem)
4 Credits of Biology with lab
8 Credits of Anatomy and Physiology with lab
4 Credits of Microbiology with lab
3 Credits of Nutrition
3 Credits of Statistics

OPTIONAL: 3 Credits of Health Care Ethics
(this course may be completed at Penn while in the program)

Official approval of transfer credit is completed by the faculty after acceptance into the program. It is strongly recommended that the prerequisite courses be completed within the last five years in order to ensure transfer credit. All courses must be completed at an accredited institution and have a grade of C or higher for posting.

In order to begin June, you must have all the prerequisite courses completed prior to the start date, we recommmended courses be completed by May 31st. to begin in June.
