Patti Griffith, MSN, CRNP

 

Patti is a part time clinical faculty member with the Adult Acute Care Nurse Practitioner program.  She obtained her BSN from Bloomsburg University and her MSN, in the Adult Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Program with a concentration in surgery from the University of Pennsylvania. 

 

Upon completion of her MSN, Patti joined the Philadelphia Hand Center practice, focusing on hand surgery.  Her patient population consisted of patients with orthopaedic, neurovascular, and plastic surgery issues.  During her position with the Hand Center, she presented at several local Hand Society meetings on research she completed.  She also co-authored an article and book chapter.  Patti joined the faculty at Penn to help educate and guide the next generation of nurse practitioners.

 

Patti received the Outstanding Nurse Educator Award in 2008 - an award given out by the Graduate Student Organization for excellence in teaching at the master’s level, knowledge of the subject matter, ability to stimulate student interest and professional development, innovative teaching methods, and responsiveness to students
