Benjamin Franklin Scholars - Nursing

The Benjamin Franklin Scholars - Nursing Program is looking for students who thrive on challenge, want to take more intellectually stimulating courses, and wish to contribute to knowledge and practice via scholarship and research.

Benjamin Franklin Scholars - Nursing students are also members of the Benjamin Franklin Scholars Program, and may also join the Joseph Wharton Scholars Program and/or the University Scholars Program.

Benjamin Franklin Scholars - Nursing Expectations

Scholars are expected to: 

  • Conduct themselves in accordance with policies related to academic integrity and professional conduct.
  • Complete all Honors coursework.
  • Attend all Honors Seminars and events.
  • Maintain the minimum GPA as specified below:
Undergraduate Year Minimum GPA
Freshman 3.1
Sophomore 3.2
Junior 3.3
Senior 3.4

 

Eligibility

Freshman and sophomore students are encouraged to inquire about application. Incoming freshmen may receive invitations to apply in the summer before matriculation.

Application Process 

Interested applicants should complete and submit a NUHP Application.  Applications will be accepted during the beginning of the fall semester each year. Qualified applicants will be contacted to complete an entrance interview.
